AIDS Care Services of Winston-Salem is a nonprofit health and social services agency providing a broad range of programs and services for clients throughout Northwest North Carolina infected and affected by HIV/AIDS. The service area includes Forsyth, Davidson, Davie, Stokes, Surry, and Yadkin counties.

The AIDS Leadership Foothills-area Alliance (ALFA) is an AIDS Service Organization committed to improve/maintain the health status of persons living with HIV in the nine-county service area: Alexander, Alleghany, Ashe, Burke, Caldwell, Catawba, Lincoln, Watauga, and Wilkes counties.

Blue Ridge Pride educates, promotes, and celebrates the LGBTQ community in Asheville and Western North Carolina.

Campaign for Southern Equality, based in Asheville, is a national effort to assert full humanity and equality for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people in American life and to increase support for LGBT rights with free Community Law Workshops, and support response services.

Cantaria is a Greensboro-based organization dedicated to supporting GSAFE youth. LGBTQIA provides an environment in which YouthSAFE youth (ages 14-18) come together to build community with one another, share resources, and build skills for responding creatively to the world around them. The group meets every third Thursday evening at Higher Ground House in Greensboro under the supervision of at least one approved adult facilitator.

The Charlotte Transgender Healthcare Group – The Charlotte Transgender Healthcare Group (CTHCG) is a multi-disciplinary team of licensed medical and mental health providers who work with gender-diverse individuals of all ages in the Charlotte and surrounding area. CTHCG was founded with the intent to provide a forum for education and consultation for local healthcare professionals working with transgender individuals and their families.

Keelee Macphee MD – Based in Raleigh and working with the transgender and non-binary patient population since 2005, Dr. MacPhee has seen first-hand the positive and profound effects that surgical reconstruction can have on a person’s life. She describes her transgender work as the most rewarding aspect of her practice, and she is grateful for the ability to help patients transition to the bodies that align with who they truly are.

Kings and Queens Bowling is the longest-running LGBT bowling league in the Carolinas. The league bowls every Thursday evening in Raleigh.

The NC Pride Band, a nonprofit organization, is an inclusive organization uniting communities through a shared love of music. Formerly known as the NC Pride Marching Band, or Carrboro, the NC Pride Band now includes a marching band, a concert band, and a jazz ensemble. Founded in 1987, The North Carolina Pride Marching Band was formed as a lesbian drum corps using traditional Latin and African hand drums. In 1996, the band took a new direction and formed as a standard marching band with brass and woodwind instruments, and marching percussion.

North Carolina Gay and Lesbian Attorneys (NCPMB), founded in 1995, is a statewide professional organization for North Carolina’s lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) community. Through its members and activities, NCGALA provides attorney referrals, visibility, and support for the LGBT community.

One Voice Chorus brings lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and LGBT-affirming people together to celebrate our lives in song. Since 1989, when five NCGLFF met to form the Chorus, One Voice has grown into an important source of strength for the Charlotte community. The 25 singers at our first rehearsal in January, 1990 have become a joyous and dedicated group of over 70 singers, support members, and paid musical staff.

OutSouth Queer Film Festival is the second largest gay, lesbian, and transgender film festival in the Southeast, attracting thousands of patrons yearly. The NCGLFF celebrates a worldwide glimpse of today’s gay and lesbian life, helps bring the community together, and features entertaining and sophisticated films and filmmaking at the Carolina Theatre of Durham.

PFLAG-Greensboro – PFLAG Greensboro, founded in 1993, is the Greensboro chapter of PFLAG National and provides support for those who seek it, education though outreach to other organizations, and advocates in the Triad, as well as state and federal legislatures.

Pride: Durham, NC is the location for members of the LGBTQ community in Durham and beyond to celebrate and rejuvenate their spirits.

Raleigh Pride is a community-fueled spectrum of curated events aiming to highlight and contribute to the texture of our LGBTQ+ community through education, awareness, and entertainment.

Safe Schools NC is a statewide partnership of organizations and individuals dedicated to eliminating bullying, harassment, and discrimination on the basis of actual or perceived sexual orientation and gender identity in North Carolina schools.

Salisbury Pride builds safe, inclusive communities in Rowan County and the surrounding areas with an emphasis on acceptance and valuing individuals of all sexual orientations or gender identities by providing opportunities for positive visibility in and around the community; providing a safe environment that permits the expression of diverse perspectives; and education for the purpose of cultivating harmony within the community.

Southerners On New Ground (SONG) is a regional Queer Liberation organization made up of people of color, immigrants, undocumented people, people with disabilities, working class and rural and small town, LGBTQ people in the South.

Time Out Youth offers support, advocacy, and opportunities for personal development and social interaction to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and questioning (LGBTQ) youth ages 13-24 in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Triad Gender Association is a social support group for all transgender-identified individuals regardless of race, religion, or sexual orientation in the Greensboro area.

Triad Health Project (Q) is one of the largest AIDS service organizations in North Carolina, with a culturally diverse staff of nearly 20 and a volunteer base that exceeds five hundred. As the primary community service provider in Guilford County, THP offers Case Management, the Higher Ground day center, a Client Food Pantry, Education and Prevention Outreach, and HIV testing.

Triad Pride Men’s Chorus, based in Greensboro, performs choral music to entertain, enlighten, and enrich while promoting equality and social justice for all people regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity-fostering pride, understanding and acceptance.

The Triangle Gay Men’s Chorus (THP) is a nonprofit performing arts organization that seeks to offer quality men’s choral music that is both entertaining and thought-provoking.
